Immediate prayers needed

I'm reaching out to all my dis friends if you pray please pray for my friend from highschool right now. His wife delivered their twin girls at 23 weeks in February. It was an emergency c-section I think.

These precious little girls have been fighting for their lives. One of the little girls has developed an infection and the Dr's have said there is nothing else they can do. They need immediate prayers for little baby girl.

If you don't pray please just send them good thoughts for healing for this precious child and comfort for their parents. I can't even imagine what they are going through right now.

The other little girl seems to be doing pretty good at the moment. The majority of the complications have been with the other twin.

Thanks everyone for the prayers! This little girl needs all the prayers she can get. I knew the dad in highschool and haven't seen him much since but we have lots of friends in common. I've been following all this on a prayer group that was set up for them on facebook. For all the grief facebook causes it is useful for some things.

I've been amazed at how many people are praying for this family and following the story from all over. Many of them don't know them at all. But have been told by friends or family and joined in praying for them.

Their good friends started a fundraiser to pay for a room in an extended stay hotel for them for the next two months becuase the hospital they are at is an hour and half away from where they live. I'm amazed at how generous people have been and they are over half way to the goal amount. I was telling a lady I work with in passing about the situation and she asked for the link to the fundraiser to donate. And she's never laid eyes on this family.

There is so much bad in our worlds and its so nice to see people come together for a good cause even for people they don't know. Or to post this request on a message board and people that have no idea who I am much less who my friends are and they are willing to take the time to say a prayer for someone.

I'm just overwhelmed today with sadness for this family. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything at work so far. All I've been doing is checking facebook for an update on her. This poor little girl has known nothing but pain and struggle for her short little life. Her parents have barely been able to hold her and never really even seen her whole face unobstructed because of the tubes and stuff. They've watched her suffer for over a month. I just can't imagine.

Sending my prayers that this precious baby pulls through this difficult time.

My niece was born very prematurely last fall and fought a life threatening intestinal infection. She had less than a 50-50 chance in surviving and pulled through it after receiving the prayers from more people than imaginable. She is our family's miracle baby, but the memory of her and all the other babies (and their families) we saw in the NICU will haunt me forever. It's one of the most difficult experiences a family could ever go through!
