We're getting ready to leave for my son's birthday party. It's at Gattitown - a pizza/arcade/bumper cars/etc place. We "ordered" the deluxe party that comes with a private room and party hostess. Should we tip her? If so, how much would you tip? If it is a factor, the party package cost $200.

Thank you!

Tip if she does a good job. $20, $10 if she's only ok, more if you REALLY like her.

My husband manages one of these places. The party hostesses usually get tips.

Wow! The right person answered my question. Thank you so much! We'll stop at the ATM before the party. :cutie:

Absolutely! We always have parties out, as do most of our friends, and it's typical to tip at least $20 to the hostesses. Great price on a party - my twins want to have theirs at a local inflatable place, $365 for 17 kids (and only includes 2 pizzas, 16 slices, so guess we'll have to pay for extras).

Update-

Okay, we tipped $10, but we shouldn't have. The host did absolutely nothing except bring three pizzas and two pitchers of drinks into the room. We even had to go get extra plates so the host could have a piece of the birthday cake we brought!

He didn't talk to the kids or anything. He wasn't even in the room for most of the party. I'll bet he was in there a total of 10 to 15 minutes tops. That's not what I had envisioned at all. The party was fun, though. The kids had a blast.
