Fri - Oct 12th - Sea World (yes the other park)
We finally begin touring the park at 10am after MIL gets her annual pass. We make our way to the back of the park on the left hand side headed towards Kraken.
We stopped at the stingrays, turtles, manatees, penguins, tropical reef, pacific point reserve, terrors of the deep throughout the day. We bought fish twice so my son could feed the fish. He really enjoyed this day. I hate to say it but even more so than the Disney rides. He also enjoyed Animal Kingdom.
We finally make it to Kraken. My husband and I wait about 45 mins to get the front row seats. It was worth it. This ride is awesome! There are 7 upside down loops on this coaster. We bought the picture, stopped at the Kraken gift shop and bought more souveniers.
We did manage to make it to 3 shows throughout the day - Shamu, Key West/dolphins and Pets Ahoy.
The sea lions & otters show was closed. We never made it to the Wild Arctic. We decided the line was too long and noone wanted to do it without the simulator. We'll just have to go back we had such a good time this day.
Before we left my husband, son and I rode Journey to Atlantis! We thought we were lucky not to get wet on the big drop. But watch out the little bump after the big drop got us soaked! My husband and I were sitting in the front seats! We had to stop at the gift shop on the way out and buy a beach towel for my husband to sit on to drive back to Wilderness Lodge in my MILs new car.
After we got back to WL we all went for a swim in the pool and watched the electric water pageant.
