Once again, I ended up changing our dining plans for breakfast with no trouble at all. We were supposed to do Boma this a.m., but...when I made *that* plan, I didn't know that this evening was an Eticket night. And since that meant staying out late, I figured we'd do Boma our last morning , and 'sleep in' a bit instead.
I actually thought of this yesterday, and had the changes made then. I really do my best to concel PS when we're not going to use them.

We ended up having concierge food for breakfast again this a.m., which was fine for all of us. It's been just too darned hot and muggy to eat *quite* as much as usual <g> and besides, the oatmeal here is extremely good!

We were on the bus to Epcot by 9:05, and arrived a few minutes later. First thing we did was Test Track again .. the wait was basically nothing - maybe 15 min at the most, which, for TT, is amazing! LOL James REALLY loved this ride!
We ALL love it actually .. and I personally love it even more when the line is short! <g>

We shopped some afterwards, and did basically everything we could possibly fit in in FW, except the Living Seas. Once every few years is enough for me of that! LOL The lack of crowds, even when it was approaching noon, was so noticable this day! I mean .. it's a good thing (for us! LOL) but .. I was very surprised. Another thing I noticed was a MUCH calmer and more reserved .. attitude I guess you could say, when one encountered the 'tour groups' there this summer.

We ate lunch in Mexico today, and did the Rio Del Tempo twice afterwards. Picked up a few things in the marketplace there, and then headed out and over to Norway. Honestly, with the Maelstrom being closed right now, we didn't spend much time here at all this trip.

James wanted to stop in China and see the movie, while I just wanted to rest! LOL (besides, I'm not crazy about China anyway) As they were coming out, I started walking towards them .. and *then* saw 3 lizards all skitter out from some bushes .. as if they were coming after me! Now I know very well they weren't! LOL But I REALLY don't like them at ALL, so I turned right back around and went to my bench again! LOL

A few minutes later, we set off again, and next stop was Germany - James enjoyed the beer here! LOL and we enjoyed shopping. I was a bit disappointed though, because I really didn't see any new Christmas ornaments since my last visit in Dec. Actually, the same held true for the merchandise in Italy too. That's a nice store, with some pretty things, but they're the same things all the time. With such an amazing variety of beautiful things that come out of Italy they really should have a more diverse stock, ya know? (and no I'm not talking about the waiters and CM's working there! LOL They're fine just the way they are! ;o)

It was getting to be naptime, so .. naturally, we hit the American Adventure! LOL
I don't mean to offend anyone who likes this, but .. put me in a cool dark theatre in the dead of summer, after I've been walking in the heat all day, and .. I fall asleep! LOL

Of course we *had* to stop in Japan again, and shop shop shop! LOL That's one place that I don't know if I've ever bought anything for myself .. just for Evan.!
I did see something kind of gross though ... there were two girls in there .. probably early 20's... now, keep in mind the excessive heat and humidity .. they were all sweaty and ewww! LOL and yet .. they were trying on those pretty kimonos in the front of the store, BUNCHES of them, and they kept having a friend with them take their picture, while they layed down on the floor! Yick! LOL I mean .. I don't know, I just didn't think that was too nice.

We moved on to one of my favorites, Morocco again, next, where we spent more time. It was at this point that the dinner plans for the night changed. After looking at the menu out in front, no one but me really wanted to eat there! LOL Not that they ever do, but I usually insist on it. I didn't this time though, since there were 6 people who didn't really want to. So I went back and cancelled it with them, and just had some red wine and a little couscous salad from the Tangerine Cafe to "get my fix" for this trip.

Instead, when we got 'next door' to France, everyone else DID agree that they wanted to do Chefs de France for dinner instead, so I was able to get a PS there. To pay them back, I made them all go to the movie again! LOL I'm the only one who likes that in my group, but .. too bad - I gave up dinner at Marrakesh for them! LOL ;P I checked into the Guerlain cosmetic store in the back, but they still hadn't gotten in the makeup I was looking for, so she gave me the mail order email address, which was fine.

Our timing was good again, as when we got to England, the British Invasion was just about to perform! Perfect spot to sit and rest a bit and listen to the music. They really are good, good performers!! We also stocked up on the last of what we wanted to buy from the stores there, and then moved on down to Canada. By the time we got finished with the movie there, we needed to get back to France for dinner anyway.

After dinner was over, our timing seemed to be good once more, because the TOD parade was starting shortly, and we had a great curbside seat! I know some people don't care for this parade, but ..besides Remember the Magic, which is gone now anyway, this is my favorite. I LOVE the music from it .. just love the whole thing!

When it was over, we moved very quickly to the front of FW, where we did a last ride on SE, and then headed over to the MK - we'd gotten our etickets from the concierge, but needed to get the wristbands before the MK 'officially' closed for it to begin. We managed to make it in just before 9, so we got the added bonus of Spectromagic again too! A "tip" here is to stand and watch it from the air conditioned doorway of the store next to City Hall! LOL makes it so much more pleasant when ya don't have sweat pouring off you!

Well .. no trip is ever "perfect" .. and this is where *our* trip got a little imperfect at this point! LOL Evan was just in a lousy mood this day for the most part, and definitely the evening.. chalk it up hormones, the heat .. whatever! LOL but I still was not going to put up with it. I'd given him chance after chance after chance, all day long .. but at times, he's as stubborn as his Mama! and while that's fine for me at 39, it's NOT fine for him at his age! LOL Soooo .. there we were, at the start of Enight - and we'd done just a couple things.... when he flipped off with a smart remark, and that did it. Dave and I took him, let everyone else stay, and we left enight! If he would've apologized before we got through the turnstile, I would've taken him back! LOL But .. that stubborn streak held on and he didn't. So back to the hotel we went! I *do* believe it taught him a lesson, that's for sure!

Day 10 up shortly!

Sounds like a busy, fun day! BTW, I love Impressions de France also. :D
