Jack Blitch of WDW Imagineering was on C-SPAN discussing new dimensional technology with NASA. He used the Fantasyland and the new Little Mermaid attraction as an example. The best part is a fly through of the new attraction.

While it was kind of cool, it didn't give much away. I'm interested in this ride. I really hope it is good. Ariel deserves a good ride. But I have the feeling it'll be us riding past characters on screens and am not holding out much hope.

That ride vehicle looked a lot like the Nemo one, didn't it?

It sure did. It seems to have a lot of the same ride mechanics as Nemo.

As someone that works with AutoCad, Revit and BIM models I found that portion of very very interesting. Neat video, thanks for sharing.

Well, we're looking at something that doesn't exist yet.

As usual, I'm sure it's a battle between the imagineers and the accountants...We want to do this.... No, do it cheaper..... etc.

I'm sure the look of the ride vehicles will change over time.

Thanks for posting Aaron, it was very interesting to see (the little bit I watched haha) all the planning and engineering that goes into a ride!

I too am curious as to what type of ride this will be..we will just have to keep to find out!
