Imagineer and Author David Mumford died Tuesday.

I just found out that David Mumford, Imagineer and co-author of the Nickle Tour (the best book on Disneyland ever wrtten), died on Tuesday.

You may not know his name, but the odds are you have enjoyed his work. Mr Mumford played a large part in the Universe of Energy attraction, The Land and Journey Into Your Imagination (he was part of the project that Figment back to this attraction recently). He also did a great deal of work for the Tokyo parks. His books on Disney, imagineering and Disneyland are some of the best ever written on these topic.

RIP Mr Mumford, and thank you for all the wonderful things that you created.
