Imagine you could replace a country in World Showcase! which one and why?

I would love to see an Ivory Coast pavilion - something from Africa besides just Morocco. Or an India pavilion.

I would like to see Australia added. Always enjoy their large display at the F+W festival. Spain would be interesting also. Thought of Greece before as well as South Africa. Don't think I'd like any of them removed as they all have an interest to me for different reasons.

And the Brazil idea is a good one. But they'd have to make it an enclosed pavilion to muffle the sound if the groups of teenagers from Brazil are any indication of the noise level.

Please take this lightly in the manner it was written...JMHO here...I would have to completely disagree with getting rid of the American Pavilion! Growing up this show was was one of my favorite things in EPCOT and now that I'm old enough to truly appreciate the country I live in, I love to go there and feel our rich history once more! The singers (I can't remember the group name) before the show are great as well! Even though we are IN the United States there are TONS of us who go through everyday life without a true appreciation of how blessed we are to have such a rich heritage in so many ways. We also need to remember that although a majority of visitors are US citizens, there are MANY foreigners that visit DW and I think that it's great for them to see this appreciative side of the US.

funny cause i guess that's what i think is wrong with the american pavilion...imo is not a good representation of the heritage...so i guess i think revamp it( ok cheating cause i already said get rid of japan ) and add some scenery to walk through like grand canyon or something and represent everyone ( a 1 min. blurb ,while dramatic ,doesn't really represent native americans imo)...maybe some of the appalachian crafts or something to show the diverse scenery and population.i just think others( like france where they show you the scenery, the artistry and even a good representation of" being there") do a much better job.

I can't believe people want to add Egypt! With all the political unrest and suicide bombings going on over there (in Cairo as well as some seacoast city), I'd feel a little uneasy with one in Epcot. But do take out Canada and add Australia. Or at least update Canada.

Not the Norway pavilion . . . I LOVE that one. In fact, the little film at the end of the Maelstrom is the reason that DH and I took a vacation to Norway in the first place. It was just as beautiful as we imagined. And now, after having been to Norway, we appreciate how detailed and authentic the pavilion is . . . from the viking ship, to the stave church, to Akershus castle, and (my favorite part) the hanseatic buildings of Bergen. LOVE IT!

I would love a representation from India -- especially one with a good restaurant YUM! Obviously, the Taj Mahal.

I also would like to see any of the Eastern European nations represented or Russia.

It seems to me that every pavilion needs some sort of visual pop. While I like the Australia and Brazil suggestions, I'm curious as to what the widely recognizable visual references would be. Maybe for Australia the Sydney opera house? What else?

i would ditch the American Pavilion, if you want America you can go to Liberty Square and add either Greece, Egypt, Austraila or Russia. I think the history, food and architecture of any of those countries would be great!

First I would take out Canada. I am from Canada and to tell you the truth it's quite boring. Please add Holland. There is so much they could do with this country, starting with a water ride as DLKT said.

I would get rid of Morocco in a heartbeat. Nothing there that is of interest. China and Japan don't have a whole lot either but still they are not my first choice. I like the idea of replacing it with Ireland but I would love to be able to go and see a 360 degree Circlevision film on Australia. They could have a replica of the Sidney Opera House to go through. That would be cool!!

These are all really good ideas for new countries, but I would also like to see Poland, the food alone is soooo good. I think there should be new additions, or just replace the old a little at a time.

I wouldn't get rid of one, but I would add a few, like Greece and Ireland.

I would vote for Greece, Russia and South Africa. I wouldn't remove any - I like the ones that are there!
