Imagine The Lines For Buying Passes

How is Disney going to handle this? The queues are going to be crazy- there are so many choices for buying tickets. I can see someone getting up there for 5 day hoppers and the CM saying- 'for only XX more you can upgrade to a 7 day...' lots of decisions to make if the buyer is unfamiliar with theis ticket option. I think a touch screen system for buying passes might make a lot of sense.
Park entrance might get a bit jammed up too as it seems a lot more people will be needing a finger scan.

I wouldn't be suprised if you wouldn't see a lot of people who are staying on-site arranging their tickets when they check in (or prior with the packages), so I don't really think there will be a large change.

I think you are right about people buying them at the resort but then that will just slow down the check-in lines which can already be pretty slow.

I didn't see that- but- I can imagine... I just keep thinking I am going to be in line behind one of these conversations...

tourist: "Ok-I see it is a much better deal to just get the 10 day pass- then we can use it on our next trip too- great - it's settled"
CM: "Now in that instance you will need to add the no expiration option."
tourist: "How much is that"
CM: "$100 per ticket"
tourist:"Strike that- How much is the 6 day again..."
blah blah blah
ending with tourist: "#@%$ somebody get me a calculator and a tylenol"

Yes. But it still won't guarantee that you won't be in line behind someone having this trouble. Right now when you check in to your Disney resort- the CM will ask if you want to purchase park passes during the check-in process.
