Imagine, you went on a 6-7 day trip to disney world with one other person and on the basic dining plan...

What restaurants would you book in advance?

Put all 6-7 choices in your post and alittle reason what is good at that restaurant.

Our favorite TS restaurants are:

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh and friends

Poly - Ohana

Epcot - Teppen Edo, Chef's de France, and Le Cellier

Downtown Disney - Raglan Road

Animal Kingdom - Rainforest Cafe

Our favorite CS restaurants are:

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bills, and Cosmic Rays

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons

Downtown Disney - Earl of Sandwich

We usually do not eat at Hollywood Studios. Hope this helps.

Le Cellier for lunch (Epcot day) -pretzel bread and filet or strip steak is good-plus I love the Raspberry shake you can get on DDP.

Cape May Clambake (DHS day)-love the salads here and mac-n-cheese (homemade not the typical disney kind) plus the desserts are great-oreo bon bons :thumbsup2

Tusker House bfast (AK day)-haven't tried yet planned for next vaca-we usually go to CP bfast-loved the choc mickey waffles and puffed french toast there

Tony's (MK day)-food is okay but I really like the Lady and Tramp theme and pistachio creme brulee.

Via Napoli (EPcot day)-the white pizza, salads, and zeppole were great

Kona dinner(MK day)-their teryaki steak is really good and desserts are good.

Kona bfast (MK day)-Macademia-pineapple pancakes :goodvibes and Kona coffee would probably pay oop though.

We've had good meals at Sci-fi and Mama Melrose too. The characters at 1900 Park Fare are the best character interaction-food is just not that great

If its just two people, I'm assuming that you are a couple. If it were me, I would book Signature restaurants like Flying Fish, Cali Grill & Yachtsman's Steakhouse. They are all 2 credits each, so you would either have to eat CS the rest of the time, or pay OOP for the rest.
CS I'd choose would be Flametree BBQ at AK, Cosmic Rays at MK & Starring Rolls at DHS. In Epcot - Take your pick!!

Epcot: Le Cellier - pretzel bread sticks, fillet, mushroom rissoto
Les Chefs de France - love the beef medalions and desserts!
Hollywood Studios - Brown Derby - food was yummy
50's Prime Time - love the fun atmosphere and the food is good
Animal Kingdom - Tuskar House - buffet with something for everyone
Magic Kingdom - Liberty Tree Tavern - plenty of good food
Crystal Palace - fun characters (even for adults) good buffet
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Cafe - great food
Raglan Road - great atmosphere, entertainment at night and great food
AK LOdge - Boma - beautiful decor and lots to choose from on the buffet

My 7 TS Credits:
Ohana (1)--potstickers, noodles, chicken, and shrimp
Le Cellier for lunch (1)--cheddar cheese soup, mushroom filet, and cream cheese mashed potatoes
Teppan Edo (1)--the atmosphere and the scallops
Whispering Canyon Cafe (1)--the atmosphere and the all-you-can-eat skillet
Sanaa (1)--looking at the animals on the savana
1 Signature Restaurant (2) (I've eaten at only one and it wasn't on the DDP. I'll be trying Yachtsman Steakhouse this December though. Sorry I can't help with this one.)

My 7 CS Credits: (This one is hard since we usually don't eat CS, but here goes...)
Columbia Harbor House (1)--the clam chowder and the indoor eating area
Pecos Bill (1)--my husband loves the BBQ
Flame Tree Barbecue (1)--ribs and BBQ sandwich
Yak & Yeti (1)--only had an egg roll here, but I love Asian
Captain Cook's (1)--even though I've never eaten there (heard it was good)
Wolfgang Puck Express (1)--pizzas
Any World Showcase CS restaurant (1)--pick your favorite type of food

Artist Point- Great food. Nice view of the Resort

Victoria And Alberts- AMAZING dining experience and who doesn't love a reason to get dressed up!

Sci-Fi Dine In- Campy movie goodies and 50's era cars!

TS:
Tony's - love the ambiance
Crystal Palace - our fav buffet (particularly lunch)
Turf Club at SSR - not a huge crowd, more low key than some Park restaurants
Artist Point (signature) - ate there when we got married
1900 Park Fare - I've seen mixed reviews lately, but this is a favorite, more for the Cinderella aspect, though we've not been disappointed with the food.

** we havne't been but have August reservations at Raglan Road and Kouzzina, which we're excited to try.

CS:
Earl of Sandwich - love their sandwiches
Cantina de San Angel - haven't been since the refurb but this was a favorite before
any deluxe resort CS restaurant - more choices than the parks
Casey's Corner - it's fun
Pecos Bill - we've found decent choices here

Last year I went with all the hype on these boards about
Kona, Ohana, Le Cellier, Boma, Teppan Edo, etc. They were all good, but don't overthink the restaurants. Look at the menus and go with a menu that suits you.

This year we went to Via Napoli, Shutters, Brown Derby, Captain's Grille, Yachtmans and had just as wonderful meals at all.

A simple pizza dinner at Via Napoli was a welcomed treat.

I go every year w/ my mom. it's our tradition since 2005.
That happens when you don't have any friends or bf.
we have our favorites. our new favorites are Kona and Raglan Rd. Our old favorite was Chef De France and Rose and Crown prior to them changing the menu.

Lol.
(sorry about the jibberish before if anybody saw it. i was on my Smart phone and it was having a "senior moment").
