ImagiNations Competition

Does anyone have more info about the ImagiNations competition? Has anyone here participated in it?

I did this year. We were supposed to hear back by today about whether we were semi-finalists or not, but we haven't yet. (I've been reloading my email box all day!)

It was a blast to do.

Did anybody else on the board do it this year? Did you hear back yet?

I did it last year but my partner and I did not advance to the semifinalist round

It was so much fun to do though, and I loved working with my partner. I highly encourage anybody to participate! Good luck to anybody who is waiting to hear back

Did they email you to let you know you didn't make it? Also do you remember when you heard back?

We got a letter in the mail- no e-mails. Nope, I can't remember when it was, but it was pretty darn close to the date they told us to expect something.

Well we just heard back and we didn't make it to the semi-finals. Oh well, it was still fun to do

Our team was fortunate enough to make it to semi-finals, we received the email this afternoon! Now its just a matter of waiting until April 16th . . .

I'm very curious to know how many semi-finalists there are . . . our team's number was in the high 140's so who knows how many they cut it down to!

Congrats! I think there are thirty or forty semi-finalists? I could be wrong though.

this is my first time submitting to the competition, but if you start as a Junior when you are first able to, that gives you 3 opportunities to make it to finals!

You shouldn't think of it as losing! You still have more experience designing than you used to, and all participants are considered for internships

Have you heard back about finalists yet? My team also made semi-finalists and I'm starting to get worried! I hope that they will at least email to tell us even if we didn't make it.
