Watching TV clouds in Oregon and clouds to our east

…now rickrolled! I was doing a bandscan on a virtual radio receiver that picked up all the Tampa and Orlando stations, and one of the stations I stumbled upon, Q105 out of Tampa, literally played Rick Astley as soon as I tuned to 104.7

...relieved. I thought my iPhone 16 initially had a cracked screen and I borderline had to get a repair scheduled... but luckily it was my PROTECTOR that cracked and not the screen itself. Thank goodness it was just protector. I put a temporary one on, a much more permanent protector is what I'm now going to try and find. Luckily I'm on fall break tomorrow so maybe I'll do that tomorrow...

We went around Cape May today, and luckily we did not see trees felled by the storm. Plenty of surfers were enjoying the waves.

…absolutely angry. The rideshare I set up was supposed to show up a few minutes before 8:00… instead I’m in just after 9:00. I did NOT set up 1 hour ahead to be 15 minutes late. On top of that, I got DEPRIORITIZED despite getting off the exit to where I’m supposed to be. This is the type of stuff I DO NOT TOLERATE in the morning. Ok, afternoon is fine since I’m not in a time crunch then but NOW? Not to mention with me monitoring up to the minute, the location was near fast food… breakfast time was waaaay long ago.

Both cases were CONTROLLABLE situations. It’s not like there was rain or it was peak time.
