I'm home.....tired after that drive.
I think we need to use more points and go home on a Saturday when the traffic on both ends isn't so bad....we'll see.

I posted on another thread, and, I do have friends here, too.

Tom had a heart attack on Friday. We are lucky, they helicoptered him to a hospital that could care better for him, and they put two stents in his heart. Damage to one heart muscle was severe. I was in FL with friends at urgent care with sinus infection and UTI.

We are doing the best we can. Luckily, DSis can pick Tom from hospital and Gus from kennel when they release Tom. Hopefully that will be today. They are awaiting insurance approval for a life vest.

So, yesterday Tom came home and he had a very good night‘s sleep. No wake ups, and he slept on the recliner.

My cough is getting better!

Tomorrow I’ll take him to a doctor appointment and we’ll pick up medication. Our first trips out.

Our TX son is coming to help out this weekend. We have some yard work and other things to do that neither of us is up to doing. He really wants to visit Tom, and we are both very happy!

We have spent time with Nancy and Garry today. They took Gus for two walks. Tomorrow and Sunday we’ll be finishing up holiday decorations.

Tom is doing very well.

We spent the evening at DS's. Had a good time with the kids.
We go back at 7 this morning, for what I assume will be a hectic morning.
Staying through dinner and then tomorrow going shopping with DD.

I’m smiling because I just got a call from Vladimir, a person I tutored in an English as a second language program. He and his family came from Moldova. He calls or sends Christmas cards every year at this time, and today he was excited to say the he was a “real American, since we have retired to Florida!” I am so happy for them!

Tom is walking Gus. Together we walked Gus around the block this morning. I need to get out and do more things. I used my rollator and all went well! I’ve had a cold/sinus infection that’s taking time to go away.

Bobbi and thank you for the love you gave Vladimir. Thank you of course aways for your love and care, asking how I am doing. God's Mercy truly is miraculous. He continues to heal me and enable me and thus dad to get more sleep and rest. We are so beyond blessed indeed. Each day I get stronger and heal more. Dad and I commented just a couple days ago how much more normally I am now able to walk using the walker. I am so much more stable and steadier. Yelena, our kind neighbor yesterday was so happy for me and as she said I am recovering so quickly which indicates nothing serious is wrong. Extra praise to God indeed! love to all of you always.
