curtis did citrus on tuesday, wednesday is vacation day to Diamond of Colorador River resort...Matinez lake...out in the middle of the forsaken desert...a gem on a brass ring....worth the drive...wild donkeys, river side dining outdoors under the palms dining and a good burger at that

Sounds very nice...good burger, especially!
We saw wild donkeys in Custer SP in South Dakota.

best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.....robert burns in 1786 added mice.....walt added mice in 1928....a rabbit going astray.....anyhow we did not make it out to the lake. I am often a "know it all", 30 to 40% wrong, much due to pessimism. But I have read the paper and knew that construction was taking place on the long road to the lake and delays to be expected, ...but not of the 30 min variety....long enough delay that fed ex and UPS used their road closed clause to U turn in line and go astray on the deliveries...which does not make sense, because tomorrow the wait will be the same 30 minrutes. wife daughter had a meeting in town. so we also U turn....because the wait out of the lake would be the same. ended up at the mall....great experince at Chilli's resturant

I’m super proud of DD(17) for officially making her high school varsity softball team for the third year. She goes to a very large HS and you have to be the best of the best to be on their varsity roster. DD is one of the hardest working kids I have ever known and I couldn’t be prouder of her. I can hardly wait for their first game on March 30th

Wow... we did what we were comfortable with doing last week. It wasn’t a lot, but we were OK with crowds.
It sounds as if Spring Breakers are arriving. Time to put back FP’s!

spreading the word about Avocadoes...never did so much encouraging with quotes on a single thread...Why I am on my second one now. really cheap here on the mexio border as are blackberries (very green, need lots of help) and honey mangoes now in season...yum yum...eating good on the border now!!! but too long of wait now t purchase rocky point shrimp, if you think WDW lines are long, try getting out of Mexico now....everyone is leaving yuma and head north, so stocking up on meds, smokes and alchool before heading home...and perhaps those last mintue dental and eye visits. longest line wife had seen for march and no social distancing at all...street vendors right in your space if distancing was practiced anyhow. Rain at disneyland looking good all the time.

I’m rearranging my freezer today to make room for cookie dough boxes for DDs HS softball fundraiser. Fundraiser started last night and she already sold 23 boxes. The fundraiser ends on the 23rd, so she still has time to sell a lot more. Last year she sold over 50, so naturally she wants to beat that. I‘m gonna need lots of room when all these boxes are delivered.

Wow...just like me...well sort of... my wife is doing the dusting and putting away project debri...I helped get the duster out of the cabin...🌦🌦🌦

and we had put off buying a new car...but today was very windy...could not sit outside so went car shopping....there are no new fords for sale in Yuma

I’m at the mall with DD shopping for a prom dress in case DDs BFs HS decides to have a prom. I wish they’d pull the trigger and make a decision one way or the other. My DD is 5’3” so every dress is going to need alterations and with the school waiting this long makes me nervous a seamstress won’t get it done in time since they will be overloaded with tons of girls. If there was no COVID, DDs dress would be bought and altered by now to avoid the last minute rush. Oh well.....we’ll get it figured out.
