Today is family lunch day......we'll be minus DD today. Valentine gifts for them today
She is getting her ducts cleaned and her time frame over laps lunch.

DD ended up making it for lunch They had a cancellation and moved her time earlier

My DD(17) reaching her 300lb deadlift goal the other day.
In a few weeks she’ll be trying to max out at 315lb

could be a rare puzzle soon they never refer to the word Yuma in association with their tribe, they actually live in californina and not arizonia in their own town of Winterhaven and indentify as the quechan .

so on my last mintues here for the day before I go to rest....cards tonight....valentine strawberries....I had one...I think I had a rash, but not sure if I had one on my salad though, rash is gone, or no longer itching.. Sister is in Phoneix, so going over to friends. anyhow. our valentine movie is "Dead to Me" netflex series...would have driven me crazy to wait for the next epsoide, so binge watched last night....not sure how much farther we have to go to end. windy today, tomorrow tackle the yard....wife first step in recogozing that I won't be around to help....so she really downsize the yard.....though reality is she had watering duty for the last two months ane march as i am doing the market and visiting with family....way to much vegation...and for the first time in our marriage...I have no argument to depletion of the green in our yard as i did in salem and last year here. Summer is coming and wife is making plans to leave July 1st with no intention of wrestling with the extreme heat...I guess maybe the oregon extreme ice has her thinking.

I would feel bad if I were allergic to strawberries. I am glad your itch is gone.
We have bought a few series like Doc Martin because I too could not wait a week to see what’s next. We buy the season and binge watch!

I moved to get away from snow......glad I did.
We are about 5-10 degrees colder because of the cold air from north.

Thankfully, we are above freezing, in NJ.

However DS and family in Houston are below freezing. Amazing! Other DS and family are in MA, so, they are cold too! However, Houston is much colder than MA!

Expecting ~6” of snow today in the south. The university that I work for has called a snow day, except for us remote workers. Boo. Not only are the kids home today (Presidents day), but they’re going to be loud and I’ve got a full day of meetings. Let’s home for cancellations and no shows. Lol

ah....Kid snow....1973 was my last kid snow, neighbor had a hill on their pasture and we all had those round plastic coasters, down and up, down and up, down and up till it got dark , no snow captures light, so must have been wet, no you are never wet till you stop.....so must have been dinner time and mom had to deal with us all in our wet clothes....so I figure she must have called it a day and started on her evening of hanging wet clothes by the fire and hungry kids with soup and can't wait for school to start up again.....yep. sucks to be adult in charge with kid snow.

now I am casualty of ice in oregon....the state capitol grounds cherry trees suffered great loss to their canopies. I would love to sit under them April to fall, eating my McD choices on the bench, waiting for the bus to the beach or just looking at the seasonal offering of flower beds, listening to the large water fountain spray in different directions. wife showed me photos...none of the news outlets I viewed showed the damage, wife found on her phone, she knew I would grief at the lost of the simplest of edens...simple minded am I when folks still don't have power in Oregon

The snow just keeps coming here and people are running out of places to put it. Driving is a challenge because the mounds are so high that it’s scary when you have to pull out because you can’t see until you’re halfway pulled out. The weather here really stinks right now.

Baking day today.
Since DGS's birthday is this weekend it is things he wants.
DGD is making Monkey Bread for him. He loved it when he made it several weeks ago.
And he chose to make Blueberry Muffins. He loves muffins!! And blueberry are his favorite.
