yep......that's the time DDIL leaves for work, gets her to day care when they open at 6.
Before kids, she used to go earlier!

Wow! Knowing I have to get up so early, I would have a hard time falling asleep.

She is often up at 3, but she goes to bed by 8 too.
I am usually up between 5 and 5:30......but I don't like knowing that I HAVE to be.

That's the thing! I go every week day to my DD to get my DGS ready for school- he has special needs and it can take a long time - then she can see to DGD and other tasks. I love our time together but some mornings, particularly now it's dark, I don't like the early get up - but at weekends I wake up early anyway!

Will take pup a walk after lunch then collecting DGS from school - he is coming here to make Rocky Road for a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon at his school on Friday. As far as How I am, my foot reconstruction was 3 weeks ago today. I am healing, and things seem to be going good. I had some scares as my pins were moving out of the bones, but seem to be more stable now. Pins come out Oct 23. I keep off my foot until then. I have a knee scooter to use in the house.

We have a wonderful hound named Gus. He's 5 and we rescued him in March. What sort of puppy do you have?

He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel- he's a little smasher! Always had big dogs (Golden Retrievers) but as we're older and have small grandchildren we decided to have something smaller this time. My son has a rescue dog and he's lovely but I really wanted to have a puppy one more time!

But the news that BFF lost her father today is the sad part of the day.....just 2 weeks after her mother. He just gave up

SO sad; I had a friend with the same loss a few years ago. I think it made it doubly hard to lose them in quick succession.

We got back from Moab late yesterday; beautiful warm days until heavy, cold rain on Wednesday. We toured anyway but were happy to leave the area until we got home to the same weather! Well at least we are in a our nice, warm house now.

Childcare memories! Your family is lucky to have you around.

We've been to the NP's in Moab, probably 15 years ago, they were special places.

No DGS today.......guess he did okay at day care.
Now one more day to get ready for our trip.
