I'm about ready to leave for lunch and a movie

I'm ready for a Friday evening on the sofa watching a movie!

What are you going to watch?
I have one movie recorded and all the regular tv series start next week. Until then, it will be slow going. I finished all the series on Netfliz and Amazon I was watching and don't want to start a new one now since I record a lot of TV shows when the season starts.
We are babysitting this weekend, so that will suck those 2 days up

We're going to watch Dunkirk first - been a lot of hype about it but I'm not sure it will be that good. Enjoy the babysitting! I have a hospital appointment tomorrow - in the middle of a Saturday yuck.

We chose to skip Dunkirk.....not my kind of movie.
Sorry your Saturday is getting disturbed. I hate that.
We are going to take the grandkids to the zoo on Sunday.....finally cool enough, at least in the morning. Glad to get back to it.

We have decided to watch Harry Potter movies in order. I have 4 1/2 weeks of sitting with my foot up.

I have also asked friends for book series they may like. I lean toward mysteries, like Navada Barr's. Any suggestions here?

Big JA Jance fan here and James Patterson..
Jance's Beaumont series and Joanna Brady series. Patterson's Alex Cross, Michael Bennett and the Women's Murder Club.

It's fun to watch the Harry Potter's in order and see the kids grow up

JA Jance is lives between Tucson and Seattle and her books take place in AZ and WA.
Been to see her many times and had books signed.

She is a very nice person with lots of great stories.
I think we have a few Hillerman books. Also enjoy Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum heroine. Funny books.
David Baldacci too, especially Will Robie books.
Diane Mott Davidson and her recipes.
