We are moving our stuff. Our house in NJ has been ours and my sister's since 1998.... we have decided to retire there. With her things gone, we have a bit of room for some dear possessions, and some bits of furniture. So we have traveled a lot back and forth these last 3-4 months, moving things as well as visiting mom and brother in law, both have since passed. I think I will make only 2-3 more trips, one will be after we sell the house to get my goldfish out of my pond.

House in Ohio will go on market in March. We have gone through this once before, in 2015, when we thought we had a buyer for the house...it fell through AFTER we had put things in storage. This time, we have decided what we will keep, the rest is being trashed or gifted.

I laugh because the attendants in rest rooms on PA turnpike are looking familiar to me!

Yes, I went to a fertility doctor who had office in Fort Lee. That son is now 42, so a long time ago!

That's funny bobbi! It does sound like you have a good plan for moving and hopefully for selling as well. I can so understand about dealing with the stuff. It helped us when we moved and whittled down to about 50% but DS still thinks we have far too much stuff. He dreads dealing with it someday. But I'm sure we will eventually be moving again to a much smaller home and that will force us to let go. I just wasn't ready last year to do so.....

Been there done that also.....got rid of a lot when we moved, but have a lot and have collected a lot more.
