I'm.........

Good.

I'm waiting for DD to come over and we are going to use my Cricut to cut out things for her bulletin board at school.

Nancy - I didn't realize that DD was a teacher. What grade does she teach?

And do you like your Cricut? What don't you like about it, if anything. I have held back from buying any of the cutting machine systems; not sure I would use one enough to make it worthwhile.

I'm back from doctor's appointments, picking up scripts and outlet shopping with DH. We bought shoes (and he NEVER buys shoes) and kitchen stuff (of course - since he has a cooking store addiction :-) ) but I never begrudge any of this spending since he cooks everything!

Yes, DD is a teacher.....4th grade math.
Love the Cricut. I have 2. One only does the 6" paper, the other 12". I am challenged using that one since you need to be more tech savvy. I need to get back to scrap booking and use it more, then I would get used to it.
DD uses it all the time. We cut out footballs and jerseys last night. 120 total for all the 4th grade.

Hi all - looks like Meri's DGD had a good day! Our DGD will be three at Christmas - it's a great age. I brought home her little doll's cot last night and sewed a mattress, pillow and cover - she loved it and has played with her baby most of the day! She particularly liked the Winnie the Pooh fabric.

cute bed.

DH made our DD a baby cradle when she was little. Also both DS and DD had bunk beds for their dolls. We did the mattress and all too.
We still have them and DS has them for DGD.....they probably need new mattresses and bedding. I should check on that.

It's just a little plastic one - I have a "vintage" wooden one with high chair in the loft that were mine that we're going to revamp for her when she's a little bigger. I love sewing little things. What sort of party is your DGD having with friends?

going to U Bounce place......My Little Pony theme. I will be making the little cake for her and the big cake is ordered (she has a dairy allergy)

Love Aria's gifts; lucky kid to be so loved by your family! She is really changing; looks so much like a pre-schooler now!

I'm kind of surprised that My Little Pony is still so popular; it has been around for a long time.

4th grade is a good age. I never taught below 7th grade but I worked with lots of elementary aged kids when I did demo teaching for the gifted and at day camps. They were a fun age and loved anything you turned into a game or competition.

I'm still looking at cutting systems; right now I just make do with stencils and dye cuts. And I need to get back into scrapbooking once my hand is out of the cast; maybe this winter when I can't get out as much.

I'm still working on editing all the scanned photos; the never ending task!

I need one of those circuit machines. I need numbers for the back side of our van. I would love to get the art work done, but so darn costly.

DD doesn't really like teaching....not so much the kids, but the parents and the politics. Title one school so a lot harder to deal with all the drama.

Yes, my DD loved my Little Pony when she was little. Wish we knew, we could have saved them. She had at least 30 of them and castles and all those other things.

I haven't scrap booked in almost a year! Something always comes up. I keep buying cartridges though. I am a sucker for the mystery boxes that Cricut has every month. I try not to buy one more than 3 times a year though.

I may have to look into that machine. I need to see how bad our lettering is on our van. What kinds of things come as mystery?

always cartridges.......how many depends. They are usually about $10 a cartridge that way, some times less.
This month I ordered and got 3 cartridges and it was $25
They also come with other things......cutting mats, blades, other kinds of things to cut. I think this month I got 2 colors of plastic to cut on.
I've gotten pens, tools.

I'm not crafty, I find your conversations about cricut is over my head!
