DH is asleep. I'm having tea and watching a movie.
But the rest of the family arrives this afternoon for dinner, so I will be busy then

Watching parade and putting away groceries from Fry's grocery... first Wednesday is always 10%off for seniors at the Kroger store.... not many folks this morning...I slept in cabin and didn't hear but wife in double wide had a bad 3 hours of hearing celebration...as probably most of the absent shoppers

We had big, loud BOOMS going off at 8:00 until 9:30 and then all turned quiet.....thank goodness

We are neither urban or suburban but a huge community plopped down in the middle of the desert and access to reservation fireworks ...so no fear of enforcement...so l am watching wife and 3 dogs sleep...way to early

Rain fell in Cape May, so, it was quite with no neighborhood fireworks!

I am just turning on the yard lights that have been Christmas lights....as Jesus came as light into the world...and to be part of the crowd... everyone has their lit up

Grateful dad is safely home from the laundromat and Ralphs. Praying to soon be pain free and back to normal. Dad, too, of couse!

Watching 16 Blocks... Bruce Willis movie... eating the last block of banana bread.. blocks away they are firing fireworks.. again!!!

One last trip to storage, then a trip to the mall to pick up a replacement order for DGD (Christmas present).
Then movie and popcorn day at home.

16 Blocks was a fun movie.
We'll be watching The Six Triple Eight

Ours are all down and back in storage. Took 3 trips. We have a lot!!

Also took it all down today...4 plush singing penguins and 12 themed Santas. And our aguave cactus is back to normal after removing 20 glass ornaments.... HOWEVER... Yukon Cornelius is still leaning against the wood hinged folding door...our favorite pet name for each other is... BUMBLE

We still have lit tree and lit Nativity up in Bay window. Things will be finished tomorrow.

I'm listening to Carrie Underwood sing for the last time till September... that is if NBC is not hosting a playoff game..and I'm not covered in a blanket...yet.. still warm as house is at 70... but not sure about my location in the recliner outside
