But, our March Southern with RCCL got cancelled

We had quite a few problems on this trip, including the fact that we nearly missed our plane in spite of leaving 4 hours before takeoff. We sorely underestimated Saturday traffic from the NJ shore in summer! We decided to park on site, expensive, but it saved the trip for us.

The parks were very crowded, except for Sunday night when we walked on Soarin, and got first row to boot!

We saw our friends and our older son, we swam as much as we wanted and I had a delicious lobster roll at Boathouse.

It was a good diversion for DH…at home we’ve plenty of doctors appointments for his upcoming surgery.

Finally got our cabin assignment for the cruise. First time I have tried GTY.
We ended up getting a balcony......but it is going to be 60 degrees and raining almost all the time, so we'll see how much we use it. Nice though

I’m starting a new puzzle tonight. With DD recovering from her knee surgery I have time for the simple joys of life - like starting a new 1000 piece puzzle

I’m feeling a little emotional this morning - it’s DDs last first day of school. Where has the time gone? She should not be a senior already. I’m gonna really miss her after she elearned most of last year.

Already! school begins a lot later in NJ! I am surprised she has healed so much after her surgery. All good with respect to that?

Today’s mail included a post card from a Disborder and a Thank you note from our 8 year old grandson. It was nice to get real mail!

DGD was dissecting owl pellets today. She loves it.

DD is weight bearing and still in a lot of pain. She’s allowed to leave class 5 minutes early and allowed to use the elevator. She starts PT in about a week and I’m hoping she can start driving then too.

Baking day. DGD wants to bake sugar cookies.....again. Her favorite.

We got home from oncologist and the only cancer Tom has is in his lung and it’s small. So, he needs two tests, pulmonary and heart to see if he’s fit for the surgery, and if so, it will be scheduled.

We are happy for the good news we got today!

That is good news. Hopefully it remains small and is a candidate for surgery soon. My mom had a cancer growth removed four years ago this past may. Fingers crossed for you.
