LOL......I will definitely be reading a lot. We have a fair amount of sea days and no excursions in a couple of ports (the Mexico ones).
No drinking unless you count ice tea and water
Things have been hectic here so looking forward to lots of relaxing

Hey tea if fine, soda is fine, even water. I will feel the relaxation as soon as you board. Let me know where and when you sail and I will watch it leave....

Yes....it is a good length and a good itinerary, other than the Mexico stops. Looking forward to it.
Nice short flight ti SF, but long one back from Fort Lauderdale.

Maybe one day you can find another reposition from the east back this way.

We did east to west the first time we did a Panama cruise, so doing the west to east this time.
Unfortunately they don't usually line up to come back since they are always odd days.
And too expensive to do two of them in a row anyway.

16 days sounds very relaxing!

I'm taking care of DH who is uncomfortable after getting his flu shot and a pneumonia shot on Friday. He did run a low fever and was miserable yesterday but is feeling somewhat better today, thank goodness.

Thank you Jo for your concern. I think he is actually feeling better than he lets on; he always needs a few days a year for nursing!

Actually my hand is doing great with only what they call a 'callus' on the bone where the broken pieces didn't align perfectly. The finger on that hand though is still swollen but I finally got my wedding ring back on it!

Flavored coffee sounds wonderful right now! For some reason coffee has nauseated me lately so I've started drinking tea.

Sounds like your hand is healing nicely. At least your DH husband is not sick, sick. Coffee has a lot of acids in it. I was drinking chickory for quite some time. But I try to indulge in a little once in a while.

I remember the year I got a flu shot and pneumonia....both arms were sore and there was comfortable way to lay. Then I had to go get a shingles show right after those.
This year, not sure what the pharmacist did, but she drew blood and I had a quite a bruise for about 2 weeks and my arm was sore of 3-4 days.

Looking forward to the 16 days of relaxing. I need it.
Then we come back for less than 2 weeks, babysitting for 3 days of that and then leave for WDW. Come back to DS having his knee surgery and then I get to drive him to work for whatever time it takes, after he takes 1-2 weeks off (that is still to be determined).

Do relax those tootsies, you will need them for all the walking in WDW. You are a great mom and MIL. And I am sure they appreciate all you do for them.

Wasn't impressed with the Disney itinerary, so opted to go Celebrity this time.
Did Disney east to west in 2008.

I've been following the Jon Benet Ramsay case too. Has to be one of the worst police investigations in American history and so many twists and turns. Personally, I don't think they'll ever solve it properly.
