I'm planning several trips today.....or at least getting some final details done on them.

Glad the dogs are doing better, Jo.......is the one going get his/her toe removed?

I am still waiting for the quote for it, I may have to call. But I think I will get it removed eventually. I noticed, what happened to the cruise that was at the bottom. Not to be nosy, just asking.

I was just waiting for a quote to have that toe removed from the dog. I need to call. I also need to make my potato salad.

I'm enjoying all the new wood blinds we finally got installed yesterday (replacing hideous old Home Depot blinds upstairs and ugly fancy valances and brocade ones downstairs).

She said it may be around 300, but we shall see. How do you like the new appliances? I would love one of those refrigerators that show you what you need.

Seems like things are settling in for you, Kathy. Always so nice when a new house feels like a home.
DS said his knee is feeling better so we'll see. He has to wait about 3 weeks to get it checked again.
DH has an upper GI scheduled for next week. He now thinks he has a hiatal hernia.....but that is just his guess.

Hope all works out well for your dogs, Jo. Yes, vet bills are high but we always want to do what is best for our furbabies.
I can't get things done I wanted to because DD's cat wants to be in the middle. So, another day or just goofing around.

Very like a NY Cheesecake but curd cheese rather than cream cheese. I had a piece at a Polish bakery a couple of weeks ago it was the best cheesecake I'd ever eaten!

Yes, Nancy; it is really starting to feel like home now. Our new refrigerator is supposed to come tomorrow (still waiting on the range top, wall oven and microwave.....long story).

I'm back home after going to DS's to see DGD discover her playground DH assembled while they were on vacation

Hope she is enjoying the playground.

DH and I are watching horse racing.

She loved it......said my playground as soon as she saw it. Swings were here favorite and it was hard to get her off. Had to pull her in after awhile. She was getting too hot.....only 109!
She should be able to play on it this morning for awhile. DDIL is an early riser. Then she can try the slide before it gets too hot.

I'm going to the Hallmark ornament premiere today and plan to come home with a lot............some presents, some for me

Love to see their faces with surprises like your DGD had! She will have so much fun! Those high Arizona temps are making national news Nancy; I shouldn't complain about our 80s and 90s.

Appliance update: Since only 1 appliance has been delivered since we ordered on June 2nd we cancelled all the others. Horrible service, endless stories, excuses. We went out and bought our fridge, wall oven and microwave at Sears who matched prices. So that leaves just the gas range top which will cost alot once we find it since DH wants us to be able to use a wok on it.
