some of you might remember a couple of years ago when they rushed me to the ER in an ambulance with what they thought at the time was a heart attack. They could never give me a straight answer to what it was. I had 3 EKGs in the span of a few months and they were all irregular.

One doctor told me I have Dextra Cardia which means my heart would have been on the wrong side but so would all my other organs so that didnt make sense.

Well I went along with everything for a while but still couldnt explain what the deal was. Changed docs who sent me to a new Cardiologist (because I have a very strong family history of heart problems) and so today I did a Stress echo test and they discovered that I have a "Juvenile heart rate" and that everything was fine!

:confused3 :confused3

WTH? It took this doc an hour and a half to figure it out but the other docs ( 4 of them) and the other cardiologist couldnt figure out in months of observation! :confused3 He showed me all the sonograms of my heart ( how cool is THAT to watch???)

Anyway, the good news is that Im fine, I have the heart of a teenager ( at 34 thats not too shabby LOL) and that there is no damage whatsoever :)

Much better day today!

Glad to hear good news, are you going to start acting like a teenager??

I love that saying ~ 'Young at Heart'.
Great news Binny, now go celebrate with that beautiful family!! :goodvibes
Glad you got finally got an answer and can breath a sigh of relief.
I only wish I had something that could be considered juvenile!! :lmao:

Great to hear!

I once had a similar situation (though not as potentially serious) and three doctors couldn't figure it out, and rand a bunch of tests. The fourth--and old fashioned country doc friend of my then DF's mom took one look and wrote a script, end of story. :confused3

Gotta know Binny which Doc finally got it right? (my favorite is Eloisa Walker, but she is a pediatric specialist!Which in this case is what you needed LOL)

:thumbsup2 :sunny: way cool binny.... as long as you have Teen age heart and not teen age angst... silly goose!

To be young at heart.. oh I hear Sinatra calling!

Glad to hear the great news, Binny! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I've had my share of echos, dopplers, stress tests, and nuclear tests. I'm convinced NONE of them understand a female heart.

Thanks everybody :)

I was singing that song too LOL.

a Juvenile heart rate means that my heart is very healthy and strong. He said Basically it hadnt grown up LOL. Well it goes with my brain I guess.
:lmao:

Hi Judy!! LTNC, Dr. Weather ( or something like that) over at the 900 building at St Al's. He was great and so was all his staff.

That last cardiologist I saw that was in the cardiac center was useless, I cant remember his name, young guy. Very mean and I felt I was wasting his time. I wasnt the one who wanted to see him, my last doc made me go!

Anyway, today I have huge welts all over my body from the stickies. YUCK!
