I'm worse than the kids!

Ok, I am going crazy about this trip already wanting it to hurry up get here!

I'm counting down the days, tossing things into an open suitcase, making little bags of goodies to keep dd busy at restaurants and in line, pouring over planning books, setting up dog sitting plans, reading disboards, etc.
Tonight when I get home, I'm going to write out daily plan son index cards and laminate, an idea from here!

A local sewing/vacuum store has a sale going on for a started sewing machine for $99 and it comes with free lessons! I'm going to check that out on Sat! Tackle something cute for dd to wear. I think I"m going to like this sewing stuff!

I swear, I am worse than a kid on Christmas eve!

I have my dd trained to say "Going to see MM, in an airplane, up high, dada, mama, bubba and ME!"

It's even worse because work is slow this month and next. It would go faster if I was busier!

i am the same way!! we have a count down calender that i made at 145 days out, and i make little goals. and yes we do celebrate those goals. right now we are 39 day out. our next goal is 30 days and we will throw a 30 days party. yeah, im a dork, but i love it!!

If you're going to be doing some sewing, check out the DIS-boutiquers thread. They're up to Part 7. Terrific group of people and very willing to help those who are beginning to sew or just need a boost of confidence while dusting off rusty skills!

The thread moves to fast for me--I was on Part 5 and completely missed Part 6. I'm trying to keep up with Part 7, but it's a losing battle! *LOL*

I just finished our countdown calendar that's 180 days out that I can't even start using until Dec 31! I'm a serious addict of Disney and if I could be there every 3-4 mos I would. Love it!! Welcome to the club

I know what you are talking about. I have 26 days to go. I am going crazy. I just wish we were leaving tomorrow. I seriously think I am more exciting then my kids. I also did a cout down thingi. I did a paper chain(an idea from here) and everyday my daughter gets to take one link off. Its getting smaller and smaller. Pretty neat for a 4yo.

I'm bad too! I have bought things for the trip .I've packed the costumes and some new clothes I've picked up cheap for the kids. I've bought small cheap toys ,books and toys to give the kids in there hip packs. I think I've over done it with my DH since he doesn't want to hear any more about Disney!
