Look at it this way, if you live to be the average age (which I think is late 70's for a woman), you aren't even half way through your life yet.

I'll turn 37 a week from Thursday (12/4). Age is just a number, and I can't see getting all worked up over it (not saying that you are, OP). What matters to me is how I feel and that I actually get to wake up in the morning.

I'm not too thrilled with birthdays myself, but they are better than the alternative....

That's what I was going to say. I just turned 45 in July & I think I am finally embracing the fact that I am getting older.

I figure if I wasn't getting older that means I wouldn't be on this earth to enjoy my kids, husband & all the other blessings in my life. I hope to have at least 50+ more birthdays & enjoy every one of them!!!

I'll be 41 on Thursday too! My SIL is having a birthday that day too although I am not sure which one she is choosing to celebrate .

The actual birthdays haven't bothered me too much, the grey hair on the other hand....
