Proud as punch to get my new clippie.

15 days into Atkins and 10 lbs. down.

I know there are others who have lost faster on Atkins, but I am thrilled.

Checked last night and still in moderate ketosis.

I think I will have to be happy with this because I am not sure I could give up my salad and veggies.

Going to stay on induction for a while longer since it is working so well and I don't feel at all deprived.

How long can I stay on induction safely?

I started in January and I'm still on induction. Actually, what I suppose I should say is that I'm still consuming < 20 grams of carbohydrates each day. I have moved to foods other than those on the list of foods allowed during induction. I just keep the number of carbs that I eat less than 20.

Dr. Atkins wrote that you can safely follow induction for as long as a year :)

You are just doing so well. Averaging 5 pounds a week is wonderful progress. Who cares if someone else lost more than that during the first two weeks. We only care about what you lost, right?

I love that gorgeous new clippie in your signature. Don't get to attached, though, I've got a feeling you are going to be trading up sooner than you think.

Thanks for modelling your new clipart, it looks really good on you. I'm feeling pretty darned proud of you right now. I hope you are feeling proud of yourself!

Yay for you!! Congratulations! :bounce:
I'm doing pretty much the same thing. I'm through the official induction weeks, but I'm still sticking pretty close to it. Like you, I really don't feel deprived. I see no reason to change the way I'm eating.

Congratulations on your lost!! :) Way to go!

I am like Kath, being that I am still on Induction...After my two weeks were up, I stayed on it...have been under 20 carbs daily since! :)

Thanks for all of the support and all of the dancing.

I love this Board and cannot believe how supportive everyone is. It is just great.

And yes, I am so proud.
