I'm a 28 yr old SWF meeting my parents at WDW in May for the Minnie Marathon weekend. I've visited WDW something like 10 times and I've only stayed offsite twice - in cheap hotels because I was younger and on a budget.

Trying to decide what to do with this trip...2 rooms at Pop w/AAA for $188/nt or a 3 bedroom/2 bath condo w/private pool for $196/nt.

We are planning on spending 2 days at Disney and 2 days at Universal and will have a car for the entire stay.

Here's how I see the pros of each option:
PROS TO STAYING ON PROPERTY
Access to extra magic hours
Access to Disney transportation if needed (maybe for race viewing)
I just want to!

PROS TO STAYING OFF PROPERTY
Private pool and jacuzzi
Kitchen (If I stay at Pop, I'll fill a cooler)
Shared living area (I suppose that could be a con too)
Shorter walk to bed after a long day

Can anyone offer some advice that would help me decide??????

If it's just the three of you POP would be fine with two rooms...

That being said, I think you can find a much better deal on that condo (and better than two rooms at POP).. I'm getting a 4BR house with lots of amentities for $119 a night....

Hiya,

I think the most important thing you said was "I just want to!" Sounds like you know what you want to do! :) :) :)

I stayed at POP and it was great. I'm an on-site junkie, though. With a car, you could do some great meals at Boma or Whispering Canyon or whatever, and if you go out and have a few drinks at a disney resort, you can count on the disney busses/monorail to get you home.

Whatever you decide, have a blast! :)
