Ok so this is it. I am going to do it. I am taking a gamble (hello I live in Vegas) and starting my first ever pre trip report.
Where to start, I guess with introductions?
Me-Michele, wife (20 years), mother of 2 DD's 19 and 18, Nana one. Live in Las Vegas and at the moment busy making a baby.
DH- T, husband, father of 2 and papa to one. Works in tile and marble and is coming around to my obsession over planning our trip to the world.
DGS- baby T,son and grandson. Will be 15 months at time of our trip. Loves to make as much noise as possible by pounding on anything in sight. Good eater, almost sleeps though the night and all around funny boy.
So it all began a couple months ago and the cast had changed quite a bit since then. I started with both DD's, DGS and myself. Since then it's become to just DH, DGS and me. I am actually thinking this will be a great time as my DH and I haven't done anything without the DD's in years and years. We look forward to seeing DGS enjoying himself for the first time at the World or anywhere other than Vegas.
DH has already started buying DGS outfits and has been talking about how nice it will be to have him all to our selfs. This little guy has really brought out the best in DH.
We shall fly out on Dec 10th in the wee hours of the morning.
It will be quite the flight with our DGS I am sure.
But hey it will all work out some how. We will have a small lay over so maybe the little break will be good for him
We should arrive just before noon and head on over to POR. We are taking advantage of the free dinning. I am thrilled they extended that deal.
Now this is where I am just not sure what we will do yet. I need to to plan which days we will do what and where to eat. This is the hardest part for sure. See back when we went in 96 and 96 we never had to worry about ADR's. We did what we wanted then when we were ready to eat we found a spot and ate. I guess that isn't the case anymore?
So I really have to consider a lot more this time. I also wish the park hours were up so this would really help me out. It's all up to me as my DH will just go along with anything I plan as long as I leave him out of it.
We leave on Dec 15th later in the day so we have about half a day to still play.
So that is the plan so far. I know I want to do a couple CM but not too many. I would also like to have some meals at some hotels, maybe the Poly or AKL or both?
Also debating to either use a town car service so we can stop at the grocery store or just order for delivery and use Disney's transportation? Seems like that way is cheaper and it will be nice not to gather up our luggage.
Any advice would be great.
