But why isn't there a cable channel devoted to Classic Disney movies/series/cartoons? The Disney Channel, in its present format, gives very little of its time to anything Disney-related from more than a decade ago, and I understand that.
But wouldn't there be an audience for a Classic Disney Channel? Cartoons all morning, Mickey Mouse Club and "Wonderful World of Disney" specials in the afternoon/early evenings, and a Classic Disney film every single night. There is enough material in the vault, you'd almost never run out of programming.
And it would be the place for documentaries, retrospectives, reunions, etc.
If "TV Land" can be successful, why can't the same be done with a channel of nothing but classic Disney programming?
