Leaving next week for a wedding in Orlando and decided last minute to surprise kids with a coupld of days at WDW Just got back on the boards. Thank goodness for this site But I'm finding that there are new things out there…Like FP+ Please help? Are there no longer FP at disney? What is FP+? How does it work? I'm sure I could find the answers out on the site but running out of time so I thought I would post in case someone might post a quick reply back? Anything else new that I might need to know? Thanks so much!!!!

FP+ is part of Disney's new My Magic Plus system, where you receive a wrist band (Magic Band), that acts at your room key, ticket, room charging, etc...FP+ reservations can be booked 60 days in advance, with each guest receiving 3 per day in one park only (you cannot book 1 in MK and 2 in Epcot the same day). If you are staying on property, you will receive a magic band at check-in. It will be gray since you did not customize yours in he window. If you are not staying at Pop Century, you can also get a KTTW card and use standard fastpass. If you are staying at Pop, you can only use FP+. If you are staying off property, you will have access to standard FP, but not FP+. Be aware that recently, standard FP for headliners have been running out MUCH earlier in the day. I could go on and on but that is the quick and dirty.

I always like the fast lane help on Dis! If I read a web link and had to sort through the lingo it would take twice as long and have half the value.

If you are staying on site the FP will apply, not sure if they have the new Magic bands out every where were you have a wristband wrap around. You would go to the my Disney Experience web link or call and ask for help. Your family is registered and linked. You can decide out of a few options for the park that day how to use the here ressies.

You are able to Chang by an iPhone or AP, computer, or in the ark at kiosk if you need to Change. Print out your FP+ you choose, I kept forgetting. The ones I did use were Mickey and princess greets, the Wishes fireworks, get there early.
Under the sea, pirates, AK rained out so we only used the Dinosaure ride.
Epcot, I don't remember, HS was Toy Story ride, we didn't have time for anything else on Friday he 13th.

I hope someone with more hands on experience comes on to help.
