I had a quote from Small World Vacations for a trip in late August using the free dining. We had never stayed on site before and I was thinking with the Magical Express and Free dining, it was worth it.

Then I checked the airfare and it was twice what I normally pay, so no savings really and I couldnt justify a second trip this year.

Then this morning, two days after the free dining expired....Southwest has a sale ..$49 each way from Buffalo!

Oh- sorry- I know how you feel. Last year I was waiting for good airfare- and 2 days after the gen. public room codes expired I found my low fare but only got AAA rate for my room. I should have booked- then cancelled for a refund if good airfare wasn't available.

Same happened for me. DH had said we could go if we could fly cheaply. No luck, so didn't book. Then I log on this morning to find $39 each way....less than $100 to Orlando!!! Ugh. So, no trip.

that the airfare would have gone down, I'd like you to recommend some stocks for me! Not your fault at all. I'll be honest, though, sometimes I book things even though we may not have the 100% go ahead, just in case.... If we could all predict the future, I certainly would have gone to WDW on Oct 4th instead of Oct 7th, or I would go in Sept like I did last year...and taken advantage of the free dining. Oh well....
BTW- I'd also like to know if there are going to be AP rates for Oct (bookable over the phone)!
