I'm Still Not Packed!!

So this is a first for me. We leave in 50 days and I am still not packed!!

It doesn't sound like much, but usually I'm packing the second I hang up the phone to book the reservations. I've thrown a few things into a bag, but nothing official. Usually by now the suitcases are by the door and the countdown is ticking away.

How is everyone else's packing going?

We leave on the 27th and I'll probably start packing that morning.

I leave Sunday (3 days), and aside from some laundry....we aren't packed either! I still have so much to do..more laundry, some shopping and packing!

I need to get my rear in gear!!!!

The more trips we take and the older my kids get, the later I start packing. Sometimes I start putting things in the hallway that I don't want to forget, and some of my toiletries are always packed in a small suitcase. We leave in 16 days and I haven't really begun. It used to be exciting to pack early. Now it just feels like I'm making a mess that I see for weeks.

I leave on July 11th and I have all of my toiletries in my bag and that is late for me.

I pack the night before we leave. I fear that if I pack too early I'll forget something or forget what I've already packed.

We leave on Sept 27th and we always pack the night before. I do my laundry and pack it when it's still warm from the dryer...also helps to keep my capris from wrinkling. Though for my toiletries this year I have been getting shampoo and conditioner samples galore in the mail. Those are all going in a quart size baggie to be put in my suitcase. If I am lucky I can go the whole week on those shampoos and the soap they have in the hotel. I hate packing toiletries.

We leave in 26 days and I will probably start packing soon. So far, I only have thrown some new items in a bag just to hide them from the kiddos.

I haven't even started looking for pixie dust things yet.

DD8 has jumped another size so I have to shop for shorts for her soon.

I am working on a surprise Belle supreme dress for her though.

TinaLala, check out my countdown!! , we leave April 16th! Are you going from Logan? How did you do on your flights from Ma? They were unreal, ha? Anyway, yes, I started the packing last weekend. Its awesome to get the luggage down from the attic, and now some of it is out in the living room and some in my bedroom. I got alot done, my misc. huge duffle is packed with the aero bed, coffee liners, stuff like that. I still need to clothes shop for everyone, and sneaker shop. But the serious countdown is on . The ME luggage tags should be here soon, yahoo!!

I'm sorry to say we're not flying this year - we're driving. I know it's crazy, but it's going to save us so much money to drive. We're leaving Friday 18th at night and driving down with one stop. Then on the way home we're leaving Friday the 25th and I think we're going to stop in either PA or DC for a day to make the way home last.

I'm so jealous though .. I just read your timeclock and you're staying at BCV -- My favorite place IN ALL OF DISNEY!! I love the Ariel statue. I love Art who greats you at the main door. I love the view of Epcot at night from your hotel room and I love the secret passage way to Epcot via France.

I had a success today though I brought up DD8's summer box and looked through it. Now I have to spend two hours with her sorting through it to figure out what she wants to bring with her.

I leave Thursday April 17, and am making lists, i bought a couple of toiletries last weekend. I am super excited and everyday race to the mailbox to see if my ME tags have come yet! When they do come, I will be packed in no time!

We leave in 58 days I plan on packing really light for this trip so I will probably start a week or less before. I may ship diapers, wipes and snacks to the villa.

We leave in 136 more days, and I can't WAIT to start packing.

my packing schedule:

1 month left- Big suitcase comes up from basement.

3 weeks left- smaller suitcase comes out of bigger suitcase.

2 weeks left- carry-on bag comes out of smaller suitcase.

1 week left- work on packing pile (setting aside clothes I won't wear until Disney).

1 day left- packing is finished.

am i the only one who thinks its crazy to pack almost two months in advance? your not moving there are you?i dont pack until a day or two before i go..why would i start sooner? ..im sorry i know this will irritate..but im just giving my sane opinion..i know these trips are exciting but i think some people lose thier sanity in planning thier trips..if i packed even two week sb4 our trip..every person i know whould think i was nuts..and they would be right..sounds a little ocd to me..ok im done giving an honest opinion..sorry if offen original poster..have a agreat trip..you sould be well prepared

We leave in six days, already have the summer clothes packed (don't need them here right now) and started to pack up all the food, toiletries, etc. Want to be in the car as fast as possible the day we leave.
