Please forgive me in advance if this topic is like beating a dead horse. I haven't been on the boards since planning our last trip and am just starting to plan our 12/07 trip. I know from past experience there were tons and tons and tons of threads about pop warner week. I tried doing a search and keep getting an error message.

So I humbly askif anyone knows the dates for this year's invasion. Also, if you have been in DEC when is your favorite time of month to go? We want to go sometime between Thanksgiving and 12/18. Thanks a bunch!

I believe Pop Warner is 12/2 (could be 12/1) through 12/8 this year.

We're going 12/1-8 but, it's our first time in December so I can't offer any insight.

We went last december 13 - 20st, it was PERFECT, low crowds, no pop warner and you really had the christmas spirit with all the decorations & shows.

We were there last year Dec 15-22 and it was just perfect! Great weather, low crowds, all the decorations. We were leaving as the major Christmas crowds were arriving.

We were going the 1-8 but have changed to the 8-16. Not only will Pop Warner Football be there but also Cheerleaders and another group from the Disney Cruise will be there the end of the week. We only get to go once a year so we are hoping the following week will be a little less crowded.

This year, the Pop Warner Cheer & Dance competitions are December 3 to December 7th.

The Pop Warner Superbowl is December 2 to December 8th.

Mousefest is also that same week too plus the Christmas Parade taping. We were there last year on the first week of December and it was CROWDED!

I just checked this thread to see what it was about. I'm glad I did. We are planning 2008 for Dec 11-18. If the dates hold true we should miss the pop warner and cheer leading stuff next year I am hoping for low crowds and good weather.

I am so thrilled to hear about the low crowds!!! We will be there Dec. 15-21, and are very excited about our first Christmas time a Disney!!
