I got the official "go ahead" complete with eye roll and sigh today to start planning a trip next Sept. 29 - Oct. 7 to celebrate DDs 4th birthday. While I had been mildly daydreaming in my mind before, now I really get to make some decisions. FIRST, WHERE TO STAY???

We just got back from POFQ and loved it.
But I really want to stay at WL.
Or maybe rent DVC points and stay either at BWV or WLV or even BCV.
Or maybe I should save my money and stay at POFQ again.
And then, my Mom might decide to join us, too (but I sort of doubt it.) Then we would be 3 adults, a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old.
Add to that, if Disney offers free dining again I think we will probably want to take advantage of it, so I'm not sure I want to be tied down by renting DVC.

:faint:

Okay, sorry, my mind went into hyperdrive when he gave me the okay three hours ago. I'm sure I'll calm down by tomorrow!

We are staying Aat POFQ in December. Any advice, pointers or tips? I can't wait to go again. :cool1:

Our whole experience was very good. The portions are VERY LARGE at the food court. One dinner meal was enough to feed two hungry adults. I haven't been there in December (ever), but I imagine the crowds will be low and the weather nice and cool.
The only thing I was disappointed (?) in, was that I thought I would have an in-room safe. If I did, I couldn't ever find it and it was extremely well-hidden. We didn't actually have anything that I really felt needed to be in a safe, so it didn't matter.
We stayed in Building 7 (I even requested it) and it was the furthest from anything, but very quiet. Even then, it was not far at all to the central building. But if I was there with kids I would want to be on the ground floor in Building five.
The boats to Downtown Disney were VERY LOUD when you were on them unless you sat far to the front.

That's all the advice I could give you specifically about the resort. Besides, there's so much on these boards, I'd be repeating everything everyone else has already said!!!
