I'm so thoroughly sad

I have been waiting for a ding for our upcoming trip. Long Island to MCO. So, tonight a ding pops up great. 54-89 ding fares. of course. I want the lower fare. Well, I put in my dates now the fares are only showing 89 fares. I call to ask them why is the 54 dollar fare not showing up. They told me, oh because the 54 dollar fare is not available on the day you fly. Come on, all the dates, are available. They say you must fly within a Monday-Thursday. So, how come that rate is not available. I am just annoyed. Right now. I guess I have to get over it, and just gamble on getting a better fare.

The same thing is happening to me. I dont know what to do. I have had two dings from MHT to MCO and neither was had any flights for my travel dates. I am starting to think I am going to have the pay for full price tickets OR totally change my dates, which I really do not want to do. I already had a hard time getting time off at work and all my ressies have been made. It would be a real pain. So I feel your pain. Good Luck!!!

Good Luck to you NHBelle. I just do not understand it. I always take SW, and never encountered this problem. I got a 54 dollar fare thank goodness returning a few weeks ago, non ding. But, have no sucess with the flights down. I cannot change my dates either.

Thats funny, I got my flight for the way back too. Crazy huh?
