I've been too embarrassed to reply to my "NOTHING" post....

Thanks to all of you who replied and Pm'ed me, I was just having a down moment.

Today I went out to the store and ran into my Pastor. He had been very ill for 4 months and just returned this weekend. He looked so frail but his eyes were so happy and so pure.

I told him I was so worried he wouldn't come back, he said he WAS, too!!

I guess we all have our days.... :p

On the way home I heard a song that said this scripture::

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God shall deliver them."

I will wait for my deliverance! :teeth: And hug my babies and KNOW I'm alright.

Thanks for the kind words. I spent hours crying while reading them and beyond humbled by the amazing care I get from this wonderful place. You guys make me feel so 'not alone'...

God bless,

Robinrs

Sorry to hear you were feeling down Robin but so glad that you are feeling better now! :)

Yep, we all have "those" days!

Most of us use this as an escape or a break from our daily lives! If we can't depend on each other to give us support and pick me ups..none of us would be here regularly!

Glad to hear you are feeling better and please dont be embarrassed...we all need to vent once in a while!

 I love you, Robin.

NEVER alone with the DIS CB!!:sunny:

Now, whether that's a good thing or not, is for YOU to decide!

You are always there for others and we care about you too.

Days of darkness, doubt and worry can turn around. I know you know it. Hang in there.

The good people of the CB and the DIS will always find a way to reach out to others in times of need. You've done the same for so many others on so many different occasions that I think you deserved to be on the receiving end for a change.

I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I hope that you never feel that you can't come to us when you're feeling blue.

I read your original post and didn't know how to respond. Just wanted you to know I've been thinking about you and glad to hear life is looking better.

I'm sorry you were down, most of us can sympathize. Couple of tricks I've learned that might work for you. The first, when I get that way, I ask God to take the worries from my heart and head and then tell myself, something much like Scarlet O'hara. With my own little twist:

I have given this over to God know, and I shall not think about it today, for tomorrow is another day.

And by the next day, the worry is gone! I may have a NEW one...but i've released the old!

God Bless...

:boat:

Something I've most DEFINITELY learned these past few weeks. With the DIS, you are absolutely NEVER alone, and with the DIS, you have a *very* powerful prayer support as well.

Hey, despite our problems, the DIS is a pretty special place. :)

Don't be embarassed, Robin. Your DIS friends are here to help pick you up when you are down. So glad you are feeling a bit better, I hope today is even a better day for you.

Robinrs :grouphug:

I guess we all have days when we question whether or not we make a difference.

My personal feelings, you are one of the most uplifting visitors and moderator on the Dis. Do you make a difference? Yes Robinrs you do! You always make a visitor here feel welcome, everything about the way you reply to people's post personifies what a moderator should be. Your one of the reasons the Dis is a great place to hangout.

I don't know why you feel so embarrassed by your post. I read the post. I guess I missed something because I saw nothing to be embarrassed about. Don't be so hard on yourself. We have all been there, done that, and probably will not learn from our mistakes and do the same thing over again. Last I knew there was only one perfect person to ever walk this earth.

We strive to be that perfect person but we stumble, some more then others.

Lot's of {{{HUGS}}} From a big time stumble- er (pet peeve) Have no idea what the proper word for a person like me who stumbles a lot, shakes the dust off, and goes on. Probably HUMAN.

It stinks being human sometimes, doesn't it ;), but we all are. {{{{Hugs}}}}

I think you're very thoughtful to post a follow-up. :earsboy:

Glad to see you are feeling better.;) I will be leaving for WDW the day after tomorrow, and will think of you and Michael.;)

Am I too late for a  ?

Heck, while we're at it, :grouphug: . That would be Erin, Malarie and myself giving you and Michael big bear hugs.

Remember that little kitty with the silly grin? :teeth:

and did not respond. I did pray for you because you needed it. We all have THOSE days and sometimes we don't realize it - that others are hurting.

I remember once, I went to see a friend. I brought her some cookies that I had made for her to try and some other little thing. Just a little hello.

Months later she told me she was having a really rough time and that my visit had really made a difference in her life. I never forgot that, some times when we least expect it we do something and it means so much to others. A simple cookie and a smile.

I hope your rough time passes and your beautiful smile returns.
