What the heck is Trance? Also Trip-Hop? Are these music styles?

I must admit I am clueless too! I have heard of Trance music but Trip-Hop is totally new to me and my DH (and between the two of us, we usually listen to it all)

Cindy, I hear ya! I buy 99.9% of my music online as well. I'm pretty sure I don't have any trip hop or trance music in my collection.
