We had such a nasty senate race here in the Dallas area. It got so bad that when I heard a commercial come on the radio I immediately changed it. It sucks that campaigns have to get so nasty. The last two or three weeks I just kept telling myself that it would be over soon rather than thinking about which mudslinger I was going to vote for.
But, we had a great surprise in the fact that the new Dallas County Sheriff is the first Hispanic and the first female to be elected to that position. Kudos to her!
