I'm So Happy I Could Burst!!!

Well....I had a long and grueling ROFR process....lost two contracts....AND finally won a wonderful resale at BWV! I have been waiting for our closing to go through so I could book our April trip at our new home! Can you believe that today was my lucky day. Only 3 days after the closing was finalized I was already in the system. THANK YOU DVC MS!!! But what is EVEN better than that??? I was able to secure the rooms that I wanted...a std. view 1BR at BWV for four days followed by four days at VB in a Deluxe Inn Room with Ocean View. We are ending our stay with one night at OKW in a studio! I cannot believe our luck....it is just amazing to me that we were able to get the BWV 1 BR less than 7 months out for a Spring Break week. Anyway....what a great way to start the weekend. Sorry...I just had to post .

Congrats. Our first stay at BWV will be next April as well. April 10th for 5 days, studio on the Boardwalk. Then the weekend at relatives, then two more days at VWL. Can't wait.

You soooooo deserve this one! I'm glad you were able to get the days - I was amazed we got what we wanted as well, and were able to move the dates becuase of the hurricane. I really think as long as we're flexible, we can get what we need even at the 7mo's. Anyway - have fun!

Congratulations! I am also a new dvc member and I know how it feels to be able to get into the system and then get the room you want for an upcoming trip. When we closed in July I really thought that I wouldn't be able to get a studio at VWL for Thanksgiving week but the Disney magic worked for me!! I didn't even have to get on the waitlist! We also got on a waitlist for any studio for 2 nights in Dec. and the waitlist came through at my home resort! I couldn't ask for anything else!
