I'm so glad I found the Disboards!

Awhile back, there was a thread about the community board, and people talked about how long they've been on it and other experiences.

I mentioned that I'm not often on the Community board, but have done a few exchanges, (and have a wonderful Disbutton with Bobbiwoz on it, Thank you again, my partner in the mug exchange!). Anyway, today I decided to try to hook up with someone for a Fireworks cruise, and the Illuminations/Cruise board worked!! We're meeting people next week for the Wishes!!!

So, I am excited and soooo happy that peope come together here to chat and just be a community.

It is a nice place, isn't it? Over the years I have made many acquaintances here, and a good number of good friends. Marie and I enjoy meeting with folks from the DIS several times a year at the local Chicago DIS meets. I have been able to meet up with many more when out of town on business trips, as well as at WDW (maybe I'll get Marie back some day). I met up with quite a few folks when i was at Disney last week...meals, fireworks, days at the parks, or just quite talk time here and there. Over the past 7 plus years here, people here have been so supportive of many concerns over the years, always there for an answer, support, a kind word.

Glad you are here too, Bobbi.
