Trades involving codes are always risky. I really wish VMK could do something to make it safer for both involved. I have never been the one giving the code in the trade, but I'm still always nervous until both of us have what we had agreed to.

Did she walk out of the room or just disappear? If she disappeared, she could have been disconnected, had VMK crash, or some other computer problem.

No, she disappeared. But then I was talking to her on the trade site, and she said that she never took my code, and she said she never agreed to anything.

I typed in the code, and it said it had been used.

What I would do since you did this on another site it sounds like is contact one of the Mods you might not get the things you traded her for but you might make it so the Mods wont let her trade anymore then she wont be able to scam anybody again.

I looked and I don't think there are any Mods on that site. It's Vmktrades.com.

I already posted on her trade threads and said she was a scammer, but she just kept replying saying that she never took my code. Oh well.

I know it was a scam because she had a thread for the flip hat up, and the second I sent her the code, she deleted it so that she could say she never was trading me her flip.

i had the same problem on vmkforums.com and again was the one trading a code. sent the person the code and they left/disappeared so i quickly entered the code. that way if they tried to use it i would have already used it. knowing the risks taken in trading codes my dad was by my side ready to read me the code if they left. they then sent me a pm saying the code did not work so i replied saying that i had used it since they left as was not risking getting scammed, more because i am a uk player and do not get to go to disney to get the codes, also told them i would send another code (my dads) to make the trade but they had non of it and went telling people i would scam them. how i do not know since i was sending the code first and i always let people check the code first.
