Wow everyone seems to know how to do stuff here and I have no clue.
I have been going to Disney since I was a kid and I see everyone knows how to get great deals and more adventure for your buck!
Can you clue me in on this?
I have tickets from the past that I'm using and may need to buy more.
Is there a cheap ticket site?
Also should I do charator breakfast?
I didn't do it 2 years ago should I do it now since my daughter is almost 5?

I'm so frustrated I don't know where to begin.

I will follow good suggestions.

Hi... and welcome to DIS! :bounce: I am not up to speed on the new Magic Your Way tix so I will let someone else recommend the best deal on that.

Re. character meals... I have two kids (8 and 5); we do one character meal each trip. It usually costs about $80-$100 for four of us to eat. We have tried Cinderella's Royal Table, the Princess Storybook Breakfast, and Chef Mickey's. Our favorite was CRT, although that may vary depending on what characters your kids were in to. For a family that tries to make trips economically, this really is a splurge for us.

Good luck planning! I hope you will be spending lots of time on the DIS!

Cindys royal table is a hard ressie to get. Your more likely to get Chef mickeys which is a buffet at the conteporary for breakfast. Good luck

My advice is get a pot of coffee, send the family away, lock yourself into your computer room and stay up all night reading everything on these boards! :rotfl:
Actually, there is such great advice and ideas from everyone here that if you keep reading, you too will know all the the secrets.
The searches are great and will help if you have a particular question that needs addresed. If not, everyone is verly helpful about directing to old links, other websites that can help or giving advice. You'll be a Disney expert in no time. :earsboy:

Welcome to the DIS!

I suggest roaming around the DIS, and using the SEARCH button. Oh, and if you can't find what you need thru search, just ask away!

Don't think any question is stupid - the only stupid thing is if you don't ask the question.

Three great websites that you need to know religiously:

www.allearsnet.com
www.wdwinfo.com (and www.disboards.com of course)
www.mousesavers.com

then you can also find great info on these sites:
www.wdisneyw.co.uk
www.laughingplace.com
www.mouseplanet.com
www.intercot.com
www.wdwmagic.com

Have fun!

Welcome to DIS! Like everyone else said, just spend some time reading the boards. I think there's a lot of info here, & you can spend hrs. just reading & posting. :)

Our first character 'meal' was the ice cream social at Epcot. It is the least expensive experience like this, and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant revolves around so you will get different views during your dining time. It was also nice to take a break in the afternoon. Right now, I believe the place is closed, but you can check to see if it is possible to make reservations for the time of your trip. Here is some more information on it:

http://www.mousesavers.com/meals.html#icecreamsocial

If you want to do a regualar character breakfast, the one in Cinderella's castle is the most popular, and then the Princess breakfast in Epcot is also great.

We decided to do the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian Resort the night we arrived (since we weren't going to the parks that day--it started off our Disney experience). So that may also be of interest to you.

Just keep reading and look through the websites that were posted. There is a lot of wonderful information to help you create a great trip!
