Hi all! :) I've been lurking here the past couple days and I want to make sure I have the right idea about the dining plan. I'm going for 7 nights in Sept. I'm booked on the deluxe dining plan (I'm getting more and more used to the abbreviations but if I don't write it out completely right now I think my brain is going to explode). Now I appologize if this is like beating a dead horse, but here goes:

It's my understanding that on the deluxe plan I will recieve 3 meal credits and 2 snack credits per day (or night as they put it). The plan does NOT include tip, but for any table service meals I have it WILL include an appetizer, an entree and a dessert. Am I right?

I've been going over and over so many of these posts that my head is spinning! Hopefully it's a lot easier once I'm actually there.

Yep, once you get thru the first restaurant you will wonder why you did all the worrying. :cool1: :hippie:

Have you made your reservations yet?

Make sure that you make reservations for the restaurants you want to eat at. Sept. is free dining and everything is pretty solidly booked up right now. You've got alot of credits to use up, and you don't want to waste any of them if restaurants aren't accepting walk ups (which is VERY common during that time frame.)

I just talked to Disney Dining today I have to change around some ADRs and they had some surprising availability CRT, Chef Mickeys so you never know!

Thanks for the replies everyone! :thumbsup2 I keep telling myself everyday that I'm stressing for nothing and that once we're there it'll all be ok. I had made 3 reservations before we decided to book an actual package and today I've been making a bunch of reservations so I at least have something and then once I get them all organized I'm going to call back and cancel what won't work for us. Too bad we didn't know we were going to FL when they were running the free dining though!

Believe it or not, the day/night distinction is very important when figuring your credits since you only receive credits for the number of nights you stay at a WDW resort, not the number of days in your package. :cutie:

As an example: Check in Monday, check out Friday = adds up to 5 days but that's only 4 nights at a resort so you'd receive credits based only on the 4 nights, not the 5 days. (although you could spend any "leftover" credits until midnight on the day you check out..) :thumbsup2

And everybody's right - it's so easy to use when you get there that you'll be happy you booked it!
