I'm so confused about getting into the park

I'm so sorry if this has been asked and I'm missing it.

We are planning to go early July. I'm confused about getting into the park.

I found this:

Used to register after you purchase tickets.

I called today because their new refund policy says tickets are refundable but then in another place it says non refundable.

I was able to get through right away - SO NICE!!!

The gal didn't seem all that sure about her answers though. She says they are refundable. Good. I asked about getting a reservation to enter the park. She said there is no reservation. You just show up and hope you can get in. Is that accurate?

You just show up. No reservation needed.

I believe the reservations were only for the AP preview days today and tomorrow.
