I'm so bummed... no Mickey character meals available

I keep checking, but the only character meal that's available during our travel week (Sept 2011) is Hollywood and Vine. I really want something with Mickey so badly. We'll be traveling with our 15 month old.

His first word was "hot dog" from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song, and I'm just so bummed that nothing at Chef Mickey's or O'hana is available.

Maybe try Cape May? You could always try for a walk up....

You can also try Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK and Garden Grill dinner at Epcot (if you have park admission).

Keep checking multiple times a day.. I tried this because for our entire week dinner at 1900 PF was full, they had NOTHING but I checked every day and one opened up. People constantly change reservations, you never know what you'll get.. Good luck!

Dont give up! KEEP TRYING!! my trips are never more than 3 months out, so I never make ressies 6 months out. Yet i always get the ressies i want. Im very anal so I check multiple times A DAY for the ressie i want. It doesnt take long...i do it at work on my pc. I prefer not to call, pc is best. There have been many times where i've snagged popular dining ressies weeks before my trip! Such as Ohana, Le Cellier, etc. Even when I arrive, i ask concierge daily to check for the one i want, or call yourself. Put the dining # programmed into your phone. You might get lucky for same day ressies as many ppl (like myself) will cancel at the last minute, with hours to spare. If all else fails, you just might get lucky at a walk up.

Your so right about that, I keep forgetting Mickey also appears at those 2 places!

Garden Grill is the best! It is my DS's favorite and DD's second favorite. It is also the quietest character meal.

DD's favorite is Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Mickey is also there, so it is another option. It can be a late night, though.

Like everyone said don't give up. Keep checking the dining as often as you can. I've been lucky more than once with our November trip. Finally able to get Ohana's and Le Cellier and this is during Thanksgiving week

I've had luck later in the evening after WDW DINE is closed. It is very random when people cancel and the closer you get the more that will happen. Vary your times when checking too. Good luck and here's some
