I'm so AGGRAVATED with MS !!!!!

and I need to vent! here's the situation: we are doing a 3 day Wonder cruise 12/13 to 12/16 -2007 and then staying at SSR for 5 days... pre cruise, we would like to book 2 nights GF concierge using our points ( this is a delayed honeymoon).... last week I spoke to a truly nice woman in MS who told me not to worry, if I call on my 11 month window date, they will have concierge rooms available....( she told me DVC gets an allotment??) and she told me I needed to call on Jan 16th..

fine....today I decide to double check ...speak to another woman who tells me there is no guarantee they will have ANY concierge rooms available , in ANY WDW resort - even on points through DVC and then she tells me to call on Jan 11th !

I'm only aggravated because it would be NICE to get the same response from 2 people!! does anyone know what availability there usually is at the 11 month window for concierge?? can you waitlist a request like that if it's not available? I have no clue as I usually book my home resort but because this is special, I wanted to do something unique....

Take a deep breath. I would think the second MS person was more on target, but what do I know. I can tell you I booked a Poly Concg with points about 60 prior without any problem. I'd think 11 months out you'd be good.

I agree, if you book at the first chance of the 11 month window, there should be no problem getting an exchange into GF Concierge.

thanks guys!! sorry to vent but it's our honeymoon so this is ultra important....however, I've had time to think and have decided whatever the outcome, I'll be with my honey in Disney .... what could be better?? lol...besides GF concierge??!!

Part of the confusion appears to be the 11 month window. The eleven month window that is relevant here is 11 months from when you would "check out" of the first night at GF. That is much earlier than January 16--its probably Jan. 11 or 12 given the info in your post, so that explains one of the discrepancies. One MS agent was going 11 months from your later checkout date.

There are no guarantees with this system but if you call early you would likely have no problems.
