I came home from school yesterday feeling okay except for some sore muscles which is typical for me being a court reporting student. When I got home I started cleaning house. About half-way through the cleaning I started feeling really tired and hot. I laid down and things got worse from there. I checked my temp and it was 99.8...less than an hour later it was 103.8. I called DH and he came home early from work to watch the kids while I tried to sleep it off. I took some tylenol for the fever and went to bed. Today the fever has been going up and down and up and down and all my muscles feel like Jello.
I've never gotten sick so fast before...usually I have warning signs. I'm not coughing and i don't have a sore throat. Other than my muscles feeling so weak and my fever, I'm fine.
Do you think this is worth going to the doctor for? I was hoping it would just blow over but it's harder to shake than I thought it would be. Has anyone had anything like this before and if so how long did it take to get rid of it?
P.S. I don't like going to the doctor
