I'm Sick.....

Well as much as I was hoping the flu would not visit with us this year, my DD14 came down with it on Sunday and lo and behold I came down with it yesterday. We both have a fever (around 101-102) and the chills and a sore throt.. no coughing at least.

I havent finished wrapping presents.... and I still had 2 things I had to go get and I do not think I will be able to do that. One dose of Dayquel and I feel more human.... but still weak....

NUTS NUTS NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had a cold for a week and was hoping that was the worst of my getting sick for the season.. apparantly not!

How long does this stupid thing last? I guess I wont be able to see the relatives on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.... I think secretly DH is having a party about not having to drive 130 miles round trip one day and 70 miles round trip the next day...

I'm afraid you'll still be contagious, so unless you want to pass on that flu, you'd best stay home. Sorry to hear that your plans will change, but now you can have a nice, quiet Christmas at home at a leisurely pace - no rushing around and driving all over.

As long as your flu isn't too bad, I'd count it a blessing! Hope you are all feeling better real soon.
