OK, we've been going to WDW yearly since 1998, usually in March but also in Oct. and Nov., once each and the first 10 days in Jan. 2005. We just had 8 days in a BoardWalk Villa this March. Wifey and our grown kids talked me into skipping March 2010 and doing something in the Carribean instead and I agreed on the condition that we do Food&Wine in 2010. Well, 2 days ago I checked Swan and Dolphin rates for this Dec, they were great, I had no expectation of anything coming of it, I just mentioned it to my wife. She said, 'I wouldn't want to miss the holidays at home, check the rates for Oct!'
You can guess the rest, yesterday I got the time off for the trip and booked super cheap airfare out of PHL and today reserved 6 nights at Pop. The Swan it ain't, buy we're doing this on the cheap and the bottom line is we're going back. I half expect to be able to upgrade to a Moderate by the time we go, but the old 'Planning Sickness' has me in its grips again. What's the cure?
