OK, we've been going to WDW yearly since 1998, usually in March but also in Oct. and Nov., once each and the first 10 days in Jan. 2005. We just had 8 days in a BoardWalk Villa this March. Wifey and our grown kids talked me into skipping March 2010 and doing something in the Carribean instead and I agreed on the condition that we do Food&Wine in 2010. Well, 2 days ago I checked Swan and Dolphin rates for this Dec, they were great, I had no expectation of anything coming of it, I just mentioned it to my wife. She said, 'I wouldn't want to miss the holidays at home, check the rates for Oct!'

You can guess the rest, yesterday I got the time off for the trip and booked super cheap airfare out of PHL and today reserved 6 nights at Pop. The Swan it ain't, buy we're doing this on the cheap and the bottom line is we're going back. I half expect to be able to upgrade to a Moderate by the time we go, but the old 'Planning Sickness' has me in its grips again. What's the cure?

I hear you!

We have not gone as often/long as you but went on our first trip in Fall of 2007. Went all out saved for a year and had an incredible trip. A week after we got home we got a 40% code so we booked our whirlwind December 2008 Holiday trip. We decided that we were going to wait until fall of 2010 to go back and do a East coast trip this summer or maybe Pacific Northwest, but in the end booked a week at the Poly in September. Dh even mentioned going again in summer of 2010 so dd can bring a friend!

If there is a cure to the illness, frankly I don't want it. My mood has been incredibly lifted since booking last week!

I feel your pain. Four years for me was too long. No i've been planning, replanning revamping, now waiting. Two things you have, a little time and DISboards. Enjoy the ride.

Happy planning is only cure, have fun doing it.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I also know the feeling, DH and myself have been spoiled by going every September and last year we did not go anywhere due to the fact we moved. We were supposed to go on a Disney Cruise with our DS and DDNL but they announced at CHristmas they were expecting in July so we figured another year without our fix of Mickey, well DH said we need a vacation, so we are booked at Pop for Spetember 10-19th and with the free dining, it will be great to eat at some of our fav dining places in the world. The count down, the planning, and the DIS boards help alot in keeping me going. Enjoy your trip..

I know, my friends think I'm nuts. We go every year too and they always say you are going to Disney again??? Well last year we went in Aug for FDP. Then I got an email about the Dec FDP. Then I got an email about $36 airfares to Orlando. I couldn't help myself. I had never been for the holidays, but had always wanted to. So we stayed at ASSP for $82, had FDP & that cheap airfare. We will probably we never get those deals again so I'm so glad we did it!!! We were just looking at the pictures last night...it was so beautiful!!! :goodvibes :cool1:
